Process for Adopting a Highway

  • You agree to adopt a two-mile stretch of highway.
  • You agree to clean it four times per year.
  • We feature your group's name on an Adopt-a-Highway sign marking your adopted section.
  • We provide your volunteers with safety vests, litterbags and safety training.
  • You bask in the glory of claiming a piece of Texas pride.

Begin by selecting a section of roadway available for adoption. When you find a section of roadway you want, request to adopt that section.
